Chris has extensive experience advocating for state and federal legislative and regulatory issues for our client’s initiatives in Rhode Island and Washington, DC. Beginning with his time on Capitol Hill, Chris has over 20 years of experience preparing testimony, drafting legislation, and building coalitions in support of legislative and regulatory priorities. He has also advised numerous non-profit and governmental entities in successfully obtaining federal funding for congressionally directed spending projects. He has a depth of knowledge in the areas of healthcare, broadband, energy, and municipal finance and has also represented clients across other sectors including infrastructure, transportation, education, cannabis, and gaming.

Chris works closely with leaders in the Rhode Island General Assembly, the Governor’s Office and various state agencies, and municipal officials around the State as well as the U.S. Congress to advocate for our clients. He has also served as legal counsel to the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank and other governmental agencies for over twenty years.   

Prior to joining CCG in 1999, Chris served on the senior staff of Congressman Patrick Kennedy and managed the Congressman's first re-election campaign. He continues to be actively involved in federal, state and local politics.

Chris is a graduate of Providence College and The Columbus School of Law at Catholic University. He is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and the National Association of State Lobbyists.
